We all hope this email finds you all well. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months and we are eager to enter this new phase of rebuilding our community. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same, and that is our commitment to your safety.
Infection prevention has always been a top priority for our practice, and you will notice many changes during your next visits to our clinic. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Medical Association (AMA), the CDC, OSHA and WISHA. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. All to ensure your best and safest experience.
Changes will include the following:
- •All patients will be required to call us at 206.622.6444 to let us know when you arrive to the Cabrini Medical Tower. To ensure social distancing patients will be let into the office one at a time, and taken directly back to their treatment room.
•Before entering the clinic you will be asked some screening questions, and a member of our staff will be taking your temperature to ensure it is within the appropriate parameters.
•Please arrive at our office wearing a mask. We will provide hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
•Though we are fortunate that our entire staff (including So!) will be returning to the office you will notice that for the time being our dress code will change to adapt to our current situation. All employees will be sporting new new scrubs, as well as face masks and protective eye shields for your and our safety
•You will notice that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or beverages
•Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will not be able to accept walk in patients, so please call the clinic first. Unless you require a care givers assistance or guardian, please come to your appointment alone.
•We will be seeing all patients on a one on one bases.
•Each room is now equipped with its own air purification device.
•CosMedic Skincare will be slightly limiting the amount of patients that we see in a day to ensure the highest demand of sanitation and social distancing.
We are officially returning to our clinic June 1st, 2020 and we look forward to seeing all of you again! Please understand that we will do our best to get you in as soon as we are able. We have months of appointments to reschedule and it will all take time. Due to this please expect longer than normal wait time on phone calls.
Thank you for all your patience and understanding during these past few months as we navigate our ever changing situation. We know that these changes will change elements of your experience with us, however you can be assured that we still will be keeping our work and your safety to the highest of standards.
Sending lots of love,
Dr. Jodie Reinertson, Kevan Petterson, RN
