What does a consultation cost?
If you are visiting our office for a cosmetic consultation, there is no fee for the consultation. We believe that building relationships is important to your care and satisfaction. For this reason, we grant free consultations for our cosmetic patients to meet our staff and discover the treatment options that are available.
If you are visiting us for medical weight loss, the fee is $29. A weight loss consultation is comprehensive and you will receive a full report of your metabolic readings to take home with you. Weight loss consultations typically run a bit longer than cosmetic consultations.
How long does a consultation appointment last?
We book 30 minutes for our cosmetic consultations. The average appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes but we choose to book extra time to ensure you receive enough time to get all of your questions answered and also receive feedback from the doctor. We want your experience to be a positive one, and also make sure you receive the education necessary to make an informed decision about your medical care.
Do I have to have a consultation with the doctor prior to receiving treatment?
In keeping with our desire to promote exceptional patient care, we require that all new patients to CosMedic Skincare consult with Dr. Reintertson, our skin care doctor, prior to receiving treatment. We want to ensure that you are pursuing treatment that best addresses your concerns. For your convenience, we can easily combine the consultation with treatment on the same day.
If you are interested in seeking treatment on the same day as your consultation, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate your request.

Are you located in downtown Seattle?
CosMedic Skincare is located just east, and walking distance from downtown Seattle, in a neighborhood called First Hill. We are close to such reputable medical facilities as Virginia Mason Hospital and Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, Polyclinic, and Harborview Medical Center. Our office is located within Cabrini Medical Tower, across the street from Swedish Medical Center. Our building is on Boren Avenue, between Madison Street and Marion Street. The entrance to our building is on Boren Avenue; our street address is 901 Boren Avenue. For a map link of our location, click here.
If you are driving, the entrance to our parking garage is on the corner of Boren Avenue and Marion Street. There is a landmark sign on the corner labeled “Cabrini Center” with an arrow pointing to the garage. Please park on level P2 or P3, if possible, and take the elevator to the 19th floor. We are Suite 1900.
Do you have parking?
Our office is located within the Cabrini Medical Tower, which has an attached parking garage. The garage services both the Cabrini Medical Tower as well as the Seattle Surgery Center. The garage is managed by a 3rd party group and as of 2011, charges $4 per hour for parking. Street parking is available on Marion Street and nearby side streets but since we are in the heart of the hospital district, street parking is limited.
For convenience and simplicity, we recommend parking in the Cabrini Center garage, which is our parking garage, mentioned above.
Do you validate parking?
Unfortunately we do not validate parking. Our garage is currently charging the same fees as street parking ($4 per hour as of 2011), and is far more convenient than locating street parking.
