MAKE-UP THAT'S GOOD FOR YOU?

If your teenager had begun experimenting with make-up, let us encourage both you and them to use a mineral based foundation that won't help breakouts flourish and match them to a perfect color so they don't have a visible line where their skin begins and their make-up ends. Bella Pierre mineral make-up also contains a natural SPF 12 - an added benefit!

MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is a quick, non-invasive procedure used to resurface the uppermost layers of the skin. Performed here at Cosmedic Skincare of Seattle, it is sometimes called a "lunchtime peel". It is also known by such patented techniques as the Power PeelTM and the EuroPeelTM.

This procedure gently removes just the very top layers of damaged skin by “sand blasting” them away with tiny crystals. The technique exfoliates and gently resurfaces the skin, promoting the formation of new smoother, clearer skin. It is usually performed on the face and neck, but can be performed on any part of the body (such as the backs of the hands). This treatment is great for teens who have clogged pores or blackheads.

Microdermabrasion can be effective in reducing the appearance of dry skin, fine lines or a dull and lifeless appearance. The treatment is often confused with dermabrasion - a very painful and invasive treatment. Microdermabrasion however, is a painless and superficial skin therapy.

Results will be noticeable from the first treatment, however a full treatment protocol is 5-8 treatments with one treatment every 10-14 days and maintenance visits every 2-3 months thereafter.

The most popular upgrade to our microdermabrasion treatment is our MicroPeel - by far our most popular facial treatment. Learn more HERE
